Starting on Sunday, this 2 part miniseries caused some controversy with his family.
Over 20 MCTV actors will be appearing in this miniseries with some of them selected because of their period hairstyles.
Peter Brock was a legend on the track, but something tells me there is more to his story. Can’t wait to see what the story holds.

The new Peter Brock Telemovie is shaping up to be a good one. According to this article the attention to detail has been extraordinary with eight replicas of Brock’s original race cars. Brock’s long term partner originally slammed the production even before the script was written. It seems she has had greater involvement with the production now and is satisfied that the story is authentic.
Loads of MCTV Extras and Actors have been working all over Sydney from St Ives to Windsor and even up to Gosford over the past few weeks. MCTV talent were doing their bit to keep the production authentic by auditioning with hair styles from various time periods from the 60’s through to the 80’s.
The production is expected to air in September next year marking the 10 year anniversary of Brocky’s fatal accident. It’s a while to wait, but by all accounts it will be worth it.
The attention to detail so far has been extraordinary with eight replicas of Brock’s original race cars driven down from the tribute museum in Yeppoon, Queensland, which he helped curate before his death.
Back in August, loads of of MCTV extras and actors worked on a the new telemovie about Princess Mary. I’m sure they will all be keeping an eye on the screen to see themselves.

Over the past month a new telemovie about Peter brock has been filming and MCTV talent have been playing their part. Everyone who is involved with this production is honoured to be paying tribute to such a legend.
As a child, Matthew Le Nevez not only avidly watched Peter Brock’s Bathurst races, one of the actors’ favourite toys was a miniature Brock car.
So when he was approached to take on the role of the motoring legend in Ten’s upcoming telemovie Brock, it was a no brainier for the former Offspring star.
