June 21, 2016/in Acting and Extras Work in Sydney, TV Series /by Sudsy

MCTV has been sending people to the new series of Top of the Lake since February and people were sent as recently as last week. In a sign that production may be wrapping up Nicole Kidman was recently seen leaving the set last Monday night. You can have a look at some more info about Nicole’s involvement with the production at the link below.

We’ve still got tons of work coming through and we are submitting our members photos every day. With all the support the Sydney industry is getting from government and new film production companies it looks like 2016 is going to continue to be a good year. We are still submitting people for Jackie Chan’s Bleeding Steel, Alien Covenant, The Alan Bond miniseries, commercials for KFC, Woolworths, Telstra and tons of others just in the past week.

We have been submitting people from all walks of life, nationalities and ages, in fact we have placed more people in Film and TV than any other agency in Sydney.

While she has already been paid very well for this job, she will get a healthy upgrade to her fee if she is featured in the final edit of the commercial. Not only that, but if the commercial is played beyond the initial contract term, she will get rollover payments too. You go “Imposter Mum”.

NSW State government puts up $20m for Film and TV

June 9, 2016/in Acting and Extras Work in Sydney /by Sudsy

More film and TV jobs for Sydney is what will be the result of the new announcement of an additional $20m from the state government. It couldn’t come at a better time with plenty of feature films underway such as Alien Covenant and Jackie Chan’s Bleeding Steel. The more we can attract, the better it is for a stable industry in this country.

In the grand tradition of Australian federalism, the NSW government makes the rules of the production hood absolutely clear.

I signed up with MCTV yesterday and they applied me for 5 jobs already, one of which was successful. So excited to be back in business after long break. Looking forward working with you guys!

Dragana Gambiroza-Lazic

I’ve been with MCTV for a few years now and found them wonderful. I’ve had a much better experience than with my last agency and am particularly impressed by their management of my daughter through Joey’s

Elizabeth Bouris

Within my first month, I’ve been considered 3 times, got an audition for a TVC, and then a call back. And even a job offer with a leading Bank.
I signed my children with the agency & while I was at the office, Paul gave us a casting for the kids the same afternoon.

M.C.T.V has been very good to me for over three years now! I do appreciate their efforts in finding me work in four major motion pictures and other jobs
