Can’t seem to get the beach out of my head at the moment. We had a submission for a bunch of awesome surfing kids this week for Rebel Sport and ever since I keep thinking about the beach.
Play Doh Celebrating 60 Years with 60 MCTV People
You can see everyone enjoying Play Doh’s birthday in these pics. This morning 60 MCTV people from age 1 through to 60 headed down to circular quay to enjoy the sunshine and a little bit of Play Doh. What a great way to bring out the child in you whatever your age.
Crime Re-enactment for A Current Affair
A group of MCTV actors and extras were on set doing a crime re-enactment for A Current Affair last week. These ones are always interesting because we get to ask our talent if they would like to play a murderer or a victim. You just have to remember not to ham up the death throws too much.
Another 16 Productions funded by Screen NSW
More great news for the local industry. The $20 Million Made in NSW fund continues to support local productions with another 16 film and TV productions recently approved. This is great news if you are an actor or extra based in Sydney.

Doctor Doctor Starts Tonight
Congratulations to the lucky ones from MCTV who were part of the brand new series Doctor Doctor. It looks like it will be both heartwarming and a little bit cheeky.
Diversity Celebrated in New Spring Lamb Ad
Over 40 of our MCTV actors appeared in this brand new Ad for spring lamb. While the ad has a tongue in cheek poke at diversity, it does demonstrate the diversity of MCTV talent. We proudly represent people of all shapes and sizes, colours and creeds.
Hundreds of people submitted for Cleverman Season 2
After dozens of MCTV people appeared in Cleverman season 1, we are excited to be submitting people for the second season. Hundreds of people have been submitted so far so we are looking forward to finding out who is successful this time around.
MCTV Talent in shoot for Paris Motor Show
A handful of MCTV people were successful in landing a shoot for the Paris Motor Show with Nissan. The shoot will be used to promote new exciting vehicles to be displayed at the upcoming show.
Dancing Crazy for Telstra
This week a bunch of our talent were asked to video themselves “dancing crazy” for Telstra. Unfortunately none of the crazy dancers were selected but 20 of our people ended up shooting in different roles for Telstra shooting this week.
A Place To Call Home Season 4 – Starts Sunday
Everyone who was part of A place to Call Home will be delighted to see themselves in the season 4 which starts on Sunday. When we announced the initial submissions we received a massive response from the fans of this show wanting to be involved. I happen to know that some very lucky fans did actually succeed in landing a part.
