Paramount+ Australia has greenlit a second, eight-part season of hit crime drama series ‘Last King of The Cross‘, as reported by Variety. Over 125 MCTV members worked on Series 1, which has been a worldwide hit.

Inspired by John Ibrahim’s autobiography, and set in Sydney’s Kings Cross in the late 1980s and 1990s, Series 1 follows a poverty-stricken immigrant with no education, no money, and no prospects who rises to become Australia’s most infamous nightclub mogul. If you missed it you can catch up here.

Season 2 (8 x 60min) dives deeper into the dangerous world of Kings Cross, as Ibrahim expands his empire into the booming queer nightclub scene. Against the backdrop of the ecstasy-fueled 2000s, the stakes are higher than ever before, and everyone wants a piece – including John’s two younger brothers.

Lincoln Younes (pictured) has been nominated for the Silver Most Popular Actor Logie for several roles including ‘After The Verdict‘, ‘Barons‘ and his portrayal of John Ibrahim in season 1 of ‘Last King of The Cross’.

Elizabeth Bouris

Within my first month, I’ve been considered 3 times, got an audition for a TVC, and then a call back. And even a job offer with a leading Bank.
I signed my children with the agency & while I was at the office, Paul gave us a casting for the kids the same afternoon.
