With another series of Rake just around the corner. Loads of our MCTV talent have been acting as lawyers policeman and seedy characters that inhabit Cleaver Greene’s unique universe. Can’t wait for this one to be back on our screens.

One of the regular gigs our talent work on are the various productions for Opera Australia. We are currently submitting for an upcoming production of The Pearlfishers. Extras on these productions usually get 12 or more weeks of regular work and an amazing life experience.

We’ve got loads of people booked on a new Google Android commercial shooting tonight. Pretty impressive that Google is doing a local campaign given they already have so much international content. You can see their new campaign for the US market on YouTube below. Doesn’t look like there was much chance for extras and actors on this production, at least not many human ones.
Shooting for the new season of The Code has begun. One of the first scenes our talent has been involved with was shot at a local Jail. Shooting will continue for several months and we expect more extra roles to come.

Lot’s of our MCTV kids must have had a lot of fun filming this new Commonwealth Bank TVC. With so many scenes, the time and investment involved was substantial. Well done to everyone who was involved.

Give a cheer for our MCTV Troops who have been filming on the set of Hacksaw Ridge over the last month. I’m sure they will do us all proud in the months of production to come.
Rachel Griffiths, Richard Roxburgh, Teresa Palmer and Ben O’Toole are among a large contingent of Aussies who are appearing in Hacksaw Ridge, Mel Gibson’s WW2 drama now shooting in New South Wales.
Last year some of our extras were involved with the production of Unindian which is about to hit our screens in the coming days. While Brett Lee is not a well known actor in Australia, his popularity in India is sure to make this film a big hit in the subcontinent.
