The other week a few of our MCTV Extras were getting fresh at a casting for an in house Tic Tac production. In house productions can be for internal corporate videos or for marketing materials that will be sent to franchisees or channel partners. Best of luck to all those who attended.

With so much effort put into the new blockbuster Hacksaw Ridge, it’s great to see the boys enjoying themselves on set.
MCTV talent had to attend bootcamp military training to ensure that that their performances would be authentic. MCTV extras and Actors have been working on the production since August with many of them having fairly regular work since then. To keep the production on track there have been many day – night shoots that involved both long hours and plenty of overtime.
A big thankyou has to go to the state government for contributing an undisclosed sum to keep this production in Sydney.

The new Peter Brock Telemovie is shaping up to be a good one. According to this article the attention to detail has been extraordinary with eight replicas of Brock’s original race cars. Brock’s long term partner originally slammed the production even before the script was written. It seems she has had greater involvement with the production now and is satisfied that the story is authentic.
Loads of MCTV Extras and Actors have been working all over Sydney from St Ives to Windsor and even up to Gosford over the past few weeks. MCTV talent were doing their bit to keep the production authentic by auditioning with hair styles from various time periods from the 60’s through to the 80’s.
The production is expected to air in September next year marking the 10 year anniversary of Brocky’s fatal accident. It’s a while to wait, but by all accounts it will be worth it.
The attention to detail so far has been extraordinary with eight replicas of Brock’s original race cars driven down from the tribute museum in Yeppoon, Queensland, which he helped curate before his death.
You may have seen this McDonald’s Ad recently or even participated in the promotion. Lots of MCTV Talent worked on this commercial with one of our Extras lucky enough to have his whole family featured.

We’ve got our fingers and toes crossed for one of our MCTV kids who attended a casting for Weetbix and is now on hold. On hold means that he is in the final stages of selection.
Let’s hope he ends up being a Weetbix kid just like the ones in this commercial from the eighties.
This week and last, loads of MCTV extras were working on a new Neutrogena Commercial for Australian screens. There have been several scenes including one at a ballet studio.
The other week a couple of our older MCTV talent were on a photo shoot for the Commonwealth Bank. These shoots are normally used for billboards or in store brochures.

Last week we had a bunch of extras working on a new commercial for IGA Australia. Shane Jacobson does a nice job of explaining why we should be supporting our local IGA in this recent commercial. Loads of MCTV extras were featured in this one too.
