February 10, 2016/in Acting and Extras Work in Sydney, TV Series /by Sudsy

Were you one of the 30 MCTV people who were involved with the filming of Here Come the Habib’s? Did you spot yourself in the first episode that aired last night? If you didn’t see it, check it out online now.

Over a million viewers tuned in to the first episode last night. Seems like a pretty positive reception which could mean even more productions are filmed in Sydney in the coming year.

We are always looking for different faces, shapes, ethnicities and skills to fill the wide and varied roles needed by all the productions filming here in Sydney.

February 3, 2016/in Acting and Extras Work in Sydney, TV Series /by Sudsy

So excited that a new series of Top of the Lake has begun production. Even more excited that this season will be shot in and around Sydney. The last season was awesome. The whole team did an amazing job and we are so proud to be a part of it this time around.

Last year came the exciting news that “Top Of The Lake,” Jane Campion’s terrific TV series, wouldn’t just be a one-off, but would return for a new season

Featured Role on Soul Mates

February 1, 2016/in Acting and Extras Work in Sydney, TV Series /by Sudsy

Congratulations to Marley Hayward for landing a featured role on season 2 of Soul Mates. We have also just had word that there will be more background and extras roles coming soon.

I’m a big fan of these guys, they had me busting my guts with laughter many times. So happy it’s been signed for another season.

If you’ve had just about enough of hipsters then you’ll probably appreciate this recent clip by the team behind Soul Mates.

Soul Mates has fun with big life questions as the twin souls of a pair of Bondi Hipsters appear throughout history and the future in a fresh blend of sketch comedy with a narrative arc.

Lion nathan is running a great campaign for the new XXXX Summer Bright Ale and one of our MCTV People is lucky enough to be featured in it. It’s all about classic summer pastimes like flicking coasters and bottle top soccer. There are plenty of tutorials for unextreme sports that I hadn’t even heard of. Have a look, you might pick up a new skill. Unextreme Sports.

MCTV Talent shooting new Music Video

January 27, 2016/in Acting and Extras Work in Sydney, Music Videos /by Sudsy

MCTV talent have been on set last week shooting a new music video for a band called Rival Fire. Rival Fire is led by John Farnham’s son Rob Farnham and they have recently released some new music in the U.S. We guess this new music video is for their latest track. You can check out the picture from everyone who worked on set and find out more about Rival Fire at this link.

Being an extra in a music video is usually really easy. Often the extras are there to fill a nightclub or concert and are asked to just enjoy themselves. It’s pretty good to get paid to enjoy yourself at a nightclub.

I signed up with MCTV yesterday and they applied me for 5 jobs already, one of which was successful. So excited to be back in business after long break. Looking forward working with you guys!

Dragana Gambiroza-Lazic

I’ve been with MCTV for a few years now and found them wonderful. I’ve had a much better experience than with my last agency and am particularly impressed by their management of my daughter through Joey’s

Elizabeth Bouris

Within my first month, I’ve been considered 3 times, got an audition for a TVC, and then a call back. And even a job offer with a leading Bank.
I signed my children with the agency & while I was at the office, Paul gave us a casting for the kids the same afternoon.

M.C.T.V has been very good to me for over three years now! I do appreciate their efforts in finding me work in four major motion pictures and other jobs
