We have lots of people on set this week for the new season of Top of the Lake which is being filmed here in Sydney. We are still receiving requests for more people too. Can’t wait till this one is back on our screens.
Ooops, a bunch of our people went to a casting for Transport NSW where they had to wear Sydney Swans shorts. Unfortunately, the next day we received a call from the casting director saying that a few people had wandered off with the shorts. No need to worry though a few calls later and everything was fine.
This week we sent off loads of suggestions for Extras in a new Mazda Commercial. We also submitted a smaller group of people for Featured Driver Roles. I wouldn’t mind being a featured driver behind the wheel of this little beauty.
Just last week we submitted a small group of high level ballerina’s for a new movie Dance Academy : The Comeback. Fans of the TV series were left wanting more after the completion of season 3 so the movie will be very well received.
Hundreds of MCTV people will be glued to their screens tonight to spot themselves on the new series of Janet King. With lots of location shoots around Bankstown from September through to December, this production kept our team on it’s toes.

Some Lucky MCTV People went to Fox Studios this week to film a promotional trailer for a new Channel Nine series “This Time Next Year”. The series follows people willing to share with the nation what they pledge to change about their life by ‘This Time Next Year’. The program comes from a successful franchise in the UK with Karl Stefanovic hosting the program here in Australia.
With a theme of “Dream Big”, this campaign explores the idea that Disney Princesses inspire our girls to achieve great things. For those girls who may be lucky enough to be selected, their dreams will come true. They can be a role model to millions of other girls.
Around 50 of our talent are heading down to a Pub after work today to shoot a new commercial for Bet 365. What better way to spend your Tuesday night than to get paid to have a good time at the pub.
