Upgrades on new Hahn Commercial
Another fantastic TV campaign here for Hahn, makes me wonder what the best pub anthem is too.
A big congratulations to Aashish, Melanie, Gabrielle, Kimberley, Dustin and David who all scored upgrades on this commercial after going on set with dozens of other people from MCTV.
An upgrade is when you end up featured in the final cut of the commercial. A featured extra is one who is clearly visible on camera. Featured extras end up with two payments, one for the day they turn up and then another later on when the final commercial is edited. Most people are pretty happy to be out on a TV set for the day but we love calling our talent to let them know they got upgraded.
Even though it is wonderful to be featured in a commercial, background people mustn’t do anything that would make them stand out from the crowd. That’s a surefire way fo getting sent to the back. The best chance you have of being featured is just to be natural and fit into the scene.
