Over the past month a new telemovie about Peter brock has been filming and MCTV talent have been playing their part. Everyone who is involved with this production is honoured to be paying tribute to such a legend.

As a child, Matthew Le Nevez not only avidly watched Peter Brock’s Bathurst races, one of the actors’ favourite toys was a miniature Brock car.

So when he was approached to take on the role of the motoring legend in Ten’s upcoming telemovie Brock, it was a no brainier for the former Offspring star.

MCTV Extras working on Here Come The Habibs

November 2, 2015/in Acting and Extras Work in Sydney, TV Series /by Sudsy

Here Come the Habib’s is coming soon. This month MCTV extras will be working on this new situation comedy about a family who moved first from Lebanon to Australia and then from Lakemba to Vaucluse. It’s by the same guys behind The Moodys so it should be a good laugh.

MCTV talent have worked on just about every TV series that is produced in Sydney. As you can imagine, there are a good variety of people required for these productions and yet there’s no experience required. We are always looking for people from a range of ethnic backgrounds, ages and a variety of looks to suit productions such as this.

It’s a second migration for the Habib family, first it was Lebanon to Australia, now Lakemba to Vaucluse. But not everyone is happy to see them, and soon the Habibs find themselves in conflict with their new next door neighbours.

İKEA – Naked Naturalists Commercial – YouTube

October 23, 2015/in Acting and Extras Work in Sydney, TV Commercials /by Sudsy

We’ve submitted tons of people for a new Ikea commercial over the last week. Luckily the local one is no comparison to this European Ikea commercial. Still, you have to admire the advertising minds that managed to use nudity to sell a table.

Rake – ABC TV

October 22, 2015/in Acting and Extras Work in Sydney, TV Series /by Sudsy

With another series of Rake just around the corner. Loads of our MCTV talent have been acting as lawyers policeman and seedy characters that inhabit Cleaver Greene’s unique universe. Can’t wait for this one to be back on our screens. ‪‬

Opera Australia – The Pearlfishers

October 21, 2015/in Acting and Extras Work in Sydney, Opera /by Sudsy

One of the regular gigs our talent work on are the various productions for Opera Australia. We are currently submitting for an upcoming production of The Pearlfishers. Extras on these productions usually get 12 or more weeks of regular work and an amazing life experience.

For every pearl, a price. For every vow, a broken promise. For every heart, a choice.

Android: Friends Furever – YouTube

October 20, 2015/in Acting and Extras Work in Sydney, TV Commercials /by Sudsy

We’ve got loads of people booked on a new Google Android commercial shooting tonight. Pretty impressive that Google is doing a local campaign given they already have so much international content. You can see their new campaign for the US market on YouTube below. Doesn’t look like there was much chance for extras and actors on this production, at least not many human ones.

The Code : ABC TV

October 15, 2015/in Acting and Extras Work in Sydney, TV Series /by Sudsy

Shooting for the new season of The Code has begun. One of the first scenes our talent has been involved with was shot at a local Jail. Shooting will continue for several months and we expect more extra roles to come.

Stretching from the spectacular red desert of Australia’s outback to the cool corridors of power in Canberra, THE CODE tells the story of two very different brothers who unearth information that those at the highest levels of political power will kill to keep secret.

I signed up with MCTV yesterday and they applied me for 5 jobs already, one of which was successful. So excited to be back in business after long break. Looking forward working with you guys!

Dragana Gambiroza-Lazic

I’ve been with MCTV for a few years now and found them wonderful. I’ve had a much better experience than with my last agency and am particularly impressed by their management of my daughter through Joey’s

Elizabeth Bouris

Within my first month, I’ve been considered 3 times, got an audition for a TVC, and then a call back. And even a job offer with a leading Bank.
I signed my children with the agency & while I was at the office, Paul gave us a casting for the kids the same afternoon.

M.C.T.V has been very good to me for over three years now! I do appreciate their efforts in finding me work in four major motion pictures and other jobs
